About Us

We work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their childhood. During our initial sessions, we will develop connection and later get into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.

Treatment Approach

Dialectic, your first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, ‘I help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. But mostly the safety of my clients is priority.

We provide services for individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients across all stages of life, from teens to adults and seniors (65+). Our practice is proudly allied with racial justice initiatives, single mothers, and the Black and African American communities, while welcoming clients from all racial and ethnic backgrounds. Additionally, our counselors are multilingual, offering services in English, French, Kikongo, and Lingala to better meet the diverse needs of our community.

For clients without coverage from our accepted insurance plans, a flat rate of $200 is due upfront prior to each session.
